THE SHORTEST DAY 2024 (Portugal, 2024)
In December 2024, A Mother Goes to the Beach (Uma Mãe Vai à Praia) was selected by Agência – Portuguese Short Film Agency and Curtas Vila do Conde – International Film Festival for the prestigious New Portuguese Shorts section, one of only four films chosen. It was showcased during The Shortest Day 2024 (O Dia Mais Curto), a nationwide event celebrating short films in Portugal, with 17 screenings across the country.
FESTA DO CINEMA (Portugal, 2024)
The film was screened as part of Festa do Cinema 2024, organised by the Academia Portuguesa de Cinema, and presented in multiple cinemas across Portugal, including Cinema City Alvalade (Lisbon), Cinema NOS Amoreiras (Lisbon), and NOS Parque Nascente (Gondomar), among others.
Metropolis Short Film Night (Lebanon, 2025)
In July 2025, the film was officially selected and screened as part of Metropolis’ 19th anniversary Short Film Night, an event dedicated to showcasing Lebanese short films.
