Founded in 2024 in Tallinn, Estonia, by an immigrant couple from Lebanon (Pedro Hasrouny) and Brazil (Malu Lins), the production house builds on their experiences and their collaborations across multiple projects. They make films that explore identity, love and belonging with a strong focus on gender representations. They are committed to bringing intimate, socially engaged stories to the screen.

Malu Lins is a Brazilian producer currently based in Lisbon and the founder of Tea on Mars Films.
  • Malu Lins is a Brazilian producer based in Lisbon and founder of Tea on Mars Films. She produced the award-winning short A Mother Goes to the Beach (2024), which screened at 50+ festivals, and 5 Minutes with Clémentina, which premiered at Kino Forum São Paulo Short Film Festival. She is developing the feature Bayt Rabab and is attached as executive producer to the Brazilian feature The Last Flower. Malu is pursuing a PhD at FilmEU and mentors in Pathfinder, its international BA in Film.

Pedro Hasrouny is a Lebanese filmmaker from southern Lebanon.
  • Pedro Hasrouny is a Lebanese filmmaker and researcher from southern Lebanon, based between Lisbon and Beirut. His graduation short, A Mother Goes to the Beach (2024), won multiple awards, including Best Short at the Portuguese Academy of Cinema’s Sophia Estudante. His work has been screened at IndieLisboa, São Paulo ISFF, Interfilm Berlin, among others. He's developing his first feature, Bayt Rabab, while pursuing a PhD at FilmEU on gender representation in the Middle East.
